Long Time No School

I realize that it's been almost two months since I've made my last blog entry; but I've just been psychotically busy beyond belief. Everything from my internet crashing, to forgetting to renew my domain name (sorry to those people that tried to log onto www.fiarlylevelground.com), to not having enough coffee, to getting a new BlackBerry!. Oh, and needless to say, starting school. Its not really that I hate going to school and seeing my friends and what not, I just like having a lot of time off. Like a three month break called summer. Well anyway, I'm in school and summer is over. I'm trying to get everything in order and figure out my new schedule.

As many of you may remember, I got my BlackBerry 8700 stolen a few month's back and I've been able to kinda get over it since I just ordered a new one. I've had a little over a dozen phones over the past six or seven years and I can say that the best phones that I've had were BlackBerries [and Sonys'/ Nokias']. With a BlackBerry, I can have absolutly everything in it; email, maps, calendar, alarm clock, instant messenger, internet browser, espresso maker, clothing steamer, oh and that little communication tool called a mobile phone. Now, I know that a lot of phones on the market today can do those things, but none seem to do it the way that BlackBerry can.

Aside from my phone, my birthday just past around two weeks ago, and now I'm in school. Theres really not to much that I can say about that because I think everyone knows what that feeling is like. Since my world will be in sync once I get my BlackBerry, I'll try to be posting a lot more. On that note, my tripple shot espresso just got called out so, happy Labor day! Cheers!

Alternate Phones.

For those of you who don't know, today is the day the iPhone 3G was released and where do I begin? For starters, I don't have an iPhone (past or new), I never did, I don't plan to get one, and I don't even have AT&T. It's not that I hate the iPhone, its just that there are a lot more sophisticated phones on the market (primarily unlocked). Currently, I have T-Mobile. If you do too, and want an iPhone. Stop. Wait for Q3/Q4 of 2008. First off, T-Mobile is getting 3G in fall of 2008, and along with 3G, there is a possibility that T-Mobile will be getting a completely new set of phones including the new operating system; Google Android (that explanation is for another post). I currently have the Sony Ericsson K800i(Quadband unlocked), and if I did decide that I wanted to get a new phone before T-Mobile released their new line, I would get one of the following: Sony Ericsson X1 (Pictured Right), LG PRADA(where Apple got the design for the iPhone; pictured lower-left), Giorgio Armani Samsung(pictured top-left). All of theose phones are unlocked, feature packed, and beyond unique. I'll keep the info and news coming. Cheers.

Late/ Early

Well, seeing as though it's around 1am, I guess this post counts for the 10th. Today [yesterday] I went to my school's website to see what day classes resume. Well it looks like the 20th of August is the magic day. According to my Google sidebar countdown, that leaves me 40 days left to enjoy summer. Aside from that. What will I do today. Lunch, buy stuff (maybe), run around the mall causing ruckus, oh and maybe see a movie. All with Joey. Since there's a wallet that I've been meaning to get, and I will be at the mall, why let down the opportunity? Anyway, I gotta get up kinda [really] early tomorrow (as in before 9am), so that my schedule flows smoothly with everyone else's. I got around 7 hours of sleep. Well fine. I'll go get to that. I might do another post later today but I don't [usually] plan that far ahead. Cheers.

Wordpress

Well, if you haven't already been able to tell, the website I run (the one you're on right now) is run and 'powered' by blogger. Now, I've been pretty strait forward with how I blog. I'll either just type out a quick (sometimes thought-out) blog entry, or I'll just make a video or post a picture. Although, the more I check out wordpress, the more I seem to like it. Now, would it be a hassle to switch? In many ways, yes. Have I considered it before? Yeah.

What I'm thinking about doing now is making a second blog, while this one is still up. See if its worth switching. I'll do my regular blogging, and if I wanna use the wordpress one more, I'll just post a link/ entry referring this blog to the other. Even though I've been using blogger for a few years, I think it might be time for a change. It'll take me a few days to really test out the Wordpress interface though if I like it better, you'll hear about it. If I don't, you may never hear about Wordpress on my blog again. Cheers.

***Update. I just realized that you can IMPORT posts, comments, etc. from another blog, into Wordpress. This is gonna make everything a lot easier. Although, it doesn't look like ANY of my videos (including ALL my MeTodays) will transfer to the new site properly. Well, nothing's perfect...***

Alright, so I haven't been so up to date on my blogging. There I said it. Aside from that, it's the 4th of July. Well, five minutes into the 4th of July. Yeah, it's kinda early/ late. Anyway, what else is new? Will I attach a screamer or some firecrackers to the back or my go-ped and go driving down the street? Well, it could happen. As far as today, well as of now, yesterday, I did do something. Beside lunch, I went to go see Hancock and it was worth the hour and a half I spent watching it. The previews gave away some parts of the movie, but there is no surprise there. Aside from the movie, I still need to plan my b-day.

I'm still deciding on weather I will have a party or not. Either way, I want to either go to L.A., Miami, or NYC but there is still more enough planning than I can do in one night. Oh, and I still need to finish [start] my summer reading; and order my text books. Yeah, these next two months are gonna be CRAZY. Cheers.

Begining of Summer, New Movies, New iPhone

Back again after over a week of not posting... Anyway, I'm on summer break and loving it! I've gone to see: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Kung Fu Panda and You Don't Mess with the Zohan and all three were great. Kung Fu Panda turned out to be a lot better than I though it would be and Zohan was great. As expected. Since so many movies are coming out this summer, like: The Happening, Get Smart, The Love Guru, Wanted, and The Dark Knight[Batman], just to list off a few. Most of those movies are coming out in June and yes, I will be seeing all of them. Seeing as so many movies are coming out, thats one thing thats gonna keep me occupied this summer.

Now, movies aren't the only thing going on this summer. Beside the school work, books, reports, and review, I plan on going on vacation in July/ August and of course hang out with some friends... Now, onto some more recent things aside from me. The iPhone! As a lot of you know, Apple just unveiled the new 3G iPhone. Now, as for people like me with T-Mobile, I might just have to buy it (once the capacity gets bigger), and get it unlocked. Although, I don't know if it can replace my BlackBerry.

The new iPhone is supposed to be sleeker, thinner on the edges, and it comes in either a black or a white plastic backing(black iPhone pictured right). Now, the color, 3G, and the design aren't the only things that are going to help the iPhone sell. One of the biggest changes that are probably going to help the iPhone's sales boost is the new price. Now, with 3G, the iPhone is twice as fast but Apple cut the price in half, and that's Apples new selling point. Although, for all of you Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Cricket, and Alltel customers, you're out of luck because those companies run on a CDMA network and the iPhone uses GSM network, like AT&T and T-Mobile, though thats for another day's explanation. Well, a lot more is gonna happen this summer and I'll try to get my blog posts as up-to-date as possible. Cheers.

Changing the Color on Your Blackberry Pearl

Here is a quick video on showing you how to change the color of your trackball on your blackberry pearl!

Be Advised: This will NOT work on your 8800 series, Curve Series, Pearl 2, Pearl 8120, Pearl 8130 (they don't have color LED's behind the trackball).
